We Are Engineering House

Engineering House is a Special Interest House that promotes collaboration and support for engineering students. We build projects for Imagine RIT, create support networks for class work, and promote a strong family atmosphere. Established in 1971, we have a large range of alumni to support us. Currently, Engineering House is located on the top floor of Nathaniel Rochester Hall.

Who We Are

Engineering studies at RIT are demanding, but you will find that you could have a significant advantage by living in Engineering House. We promote team-building and encourage members to work together to accomplish goals. Our theatre area provides everything needed to relax and our workshop is a nice open space to work on what you please.

Our strong family atmosphere allows us to work together to complete projects, sponsor events, and participate in many exclusive activities throughout the year, including movie nights, athletic events, intramural sports, house trips, community service, and much more.
